Summary

Create purchase orders in Coupa to help track placement, receipt and payment of medical and office supplies, gas products, and other miscellaneous items required to support community. Receive and stock supplies to shelves in the supply room. Coordinate the return of over shipments or receipt of wrong items and assure correct supplies are shipped and received. Address and communicate items that are backordered. Distribute special orders as they are received in a timely manner to appropriate staff or requester. Reconcile invoices discrepancies. Maintain inventory levels for all medical, office and gas supplies at the community. Maintain stock levels and organize each floor stocking location. Keep scanner for supplies charged. Manage the return of all rental equipment. Maintain and organize Central Supply room, keeping stock in a consistent and orderly manner as to permit nurse management to easily find stock. Stock and clean Bethesda owned equipment such as wheelchairs, trapeze, walkers, and any special equipment used in the clinical operations at the community. Update tracking systems for special items such as PPE. May be assigned other duties as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year inventory and/or purchasing of medical supplies
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and basic internet skills
  • Tracking inventory levels
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
