Summary

Uses cost effective methods and vendor selection to purchase inventory for all renovation projects staying within budget guidelines. Reviews and approves all invoices and costs pertaining to the renovation department and projects. Maintains complete and accurate inventory of all supplies including assignment of tools for department. Hires renovation staff and subcontractors adhering to HR guidelines while maintaining allocated labor costs. Checks drawings and prepares feedback to staff for projects and assigns staff appropriately. Supervises all renovation projects at various stages of work and provides leadership to staff. Consults with General Managers, Administrators, and residents to determine needs for renovation. Collaborates with building maintenance staff to ensure building codes are met to pass city inspections. Maintains working knowledge of emergency procedures and demonstrates awareness of safety issues for staff and residents. May be assigned other duties as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of three years management experience
  • Good organizational, critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and mentoring skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, customers and vendors
  • Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions and multiple distractions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Requires walking, light lifting, bending, standing, and sitting
  • Extended CRT viewing required
  • Driving to off-site facilities and other businesses required

Pay range: $55,745 - $86,350 annually
